replace existing tweeters
Removed existing tweeters which were working and replaced them with the power acoustic NB-2 200 watt tweeters. The power acoustic tweeters was muffled and very scratchy. I checked the connections, the wiring for positive and negative matching. Installation was as it should be, but the tweeters still did not work. Put my old tweeters back in and they worked fine. Was not worth the time and trouble to sent them back, as the initial cost was very low.Removed existing tweeters which were working and replaced them with the power acoustic NB-2 200 watt tweeters. The power acoustic tweeters was muffled and very scratchy. I checked the connections, the wiring for positive and negative matching. Installation was as it should be, but the tweeters still did not work. Put my old tweeters back in and they worked fine. Clear and bright sound -darn loud too had to adjust stereo settings to balance the sound out but the sound is so much better. I installed flush in a door panel running off 50rms off Head unit. they say 60-100 watts rms use a 16ohm/20w resistor The location I put them I cant imagine Ill ever need that much power did I say these these are Loud ! Excellent deal and Im very happy overall. (I could not find Any flush mount tweeeter in my area wt?) I would suggest two things to PowerAcoustik though 1. Put a template for the hole cutout for flush mount on there ! The Mounting Depth: 0.75" and Tweeter Cutout Diameter: 1.75" 2. offer a all black version -no forward letterings or nothing but thats me and I dont mind it much after allClear and bright sound -darn loud too had to adjust stereo settings to balance the sound out but the sound is so much better. Great sound and great compliment to the system that I already had installed. The size allowed for a smooth flush mount which completed the system and the look for the overall performance and look of the complete setup. Would recommend. A+++++
