I ordered all four to replace the four vents, they look great and I am very happy with the look; however after you remove the clips from the old vents and try to install them in the new vents they will not fit. I cracked the first vent I tried until I got a caliper out and measured. They are all almost 1/16 inch too small. After some work with a Dremel to enlarge the opening they work fine but as delivered you cannot install the clips.

Hello, you are correct they are slightly smaller. This is because each hole on each vent is slightly different in size. We went with an all-around approach because some people buy clips later on or forget which clips go in which hole. This way no matter how you put them in they will fit. What I would recommend next time if you buy another vent from us, is just bend the clip slightly which should take less time than dremeling and create less mess.

Purchased (1) passenger side vent for a long pocket dash on my resto 86 4runner. 1st vent shipped had a slight issue. Seller had great communication and shipped a replacement ASAP! Vent is not original…but finding an OEM vent for that dash is IMPOSSIBLE. Would do business again! A+
