Interesting and fun for those who like music games
Mad Maestro was never hyped up during its release, so it's virtually unknown. But it's still an interesting game if you have a taste for Bemani type games. Gameplay is easy in theory but still somewhat difficult for some. You push the buttons at three different pressures to signify the volume of the notes (soft, medium, and hard). Occasionally you'll be required to push a directional button at the same time. Overall not hard to understand, but the gameplay may take some getting used to. The songs are classical, so if you don't like that type of music I suggest you stay away from this game. Graphics are mediocre as well, but seeing at that aspect is not the focus of the game, the simple blocky graphics are fine. If it's not too expensive, then it ... As a rhythm based game, this not the most challenging or the most addicting but it is solid and original in the way that it focuses on classical music.
