Love this vacuum!!!
Love the Shark Vertex corded stick vacuum. I have 2 - one upstairs and one downstairs bc I tend to fall on the stairs. I am purchasing the same vacuum for my adult children. It does everything I need plus love the hair filter, easy clean filter, and cleaning of the dirt collection. Very powerful machine and highly maneuverable. I'm able to clean ALL areas of my home with no problem!!! Have used it on my car too! The ability to modify the vacuum size through attachments and separating pieces is phenomenal!!Love the Shark Vertex corded stick vacuum. Not that happy with mine.
There are pros and cons to this product. The cord is very long and that is a plus but you have to be very careful because you could trip on it. When you vacuum on a carpet and depending on the thickness of the carpet the vacuum can pull you along to a point where you really have to grip the handle as to not go flying. If you have arthritis the handle will hurt your hand from the force of the vacuum and power. When the vacuum is ready to use it will not stand up on its own so you have to prop it up against something so it won't fall to the floor. This really irks me. It takes a little time getting used to emptying the container and getting it back in place. I really prefer a cordless vacuum but they do not have the suction of a corded vacuum. Just what I was looking for!
A house cleaner I know said to stick with a corded unit. After sunsetting a battery operated unit, I took that advice and my next light vacuum with handheld lift off unit is this one. I have only used it a few times but was amazed by the amount of dried shoe-tread dirt, grass clippings, and dryer lint it picked up from the floor and rugs.

Suction is amazing
Best Vacuum I've ever had. The shark is picking up dirt from years ago that my home hoover has left behind. The only con is it isn't as light as I would have imagined but that is not a deal breaker for me. I love all of the added accessories, makes cleaning corners a breeze. Also love that it can be turned into a hand held vacuum for cleaning couches and shelves. I want to buy one for everyone in my family. Best Vacuum I've ever had.
