usefull for bass too
it's clean sounding, and built like a tank. i get the most use out of it with my P/J bass that doesn't have a single master volume. it reduces a lot of knob tweaking when the set list covers loud and quiet songs. the boost took some practice to tame. just a little goes a very long way with a bass at gig volume.
