    Brilliant quality and value for money. My camera is a Sony A57 and combined with this lens my images are crisp and clear. I can’t fault it in any way at all! Definitely recommend 👍🏼

    Nice lens! Just the dream for my camera!

    I dreamed about this lens rather long time, sinse the realisation that my kit lens don't give me all that camera can give. Honestly, I didn't use this lens much yet, just going to take it to vacation with my a550 and a pair of Hoya filters. I like pictures I made sinse the purchase, they seemed better to me than made with kit lens SAL1855. Also the advantage is wider focus length, wich is more convenient (I'd say, the most desired), and better apperture at "long end". And I like how this lens looks with my camera :) Maybe the price is rather high, but it always the same - you have to pay for good quality :)

    Build and image quality stunning, good range, I recomend it to every one.

    As a high end image taker this lens is unsurpassed! Keep it within the sweet spot and all is superb. As for practicality of the focal range again excellent, semi fast and 16-80mm giving a stunning 24mm - 120mm (in 35mm full frame terms) is again really usefull. AF is quick and accurate. Nice good focus ring and nice zoom ring for a plastic build which it doesnt feel any thin like in use. It is a little heavy not terrible but you know it on the camera, ity is nicely balanced

    My best lens yet

    The lens was in excellent condition and is a superb performer. Centre sharpness is outstanding while edge sharpness is also good. Lens aberration is well controlled as is flare. The lens is quite heavy but this seems to have reduced camera shake meaning lower shutter speeds can be used. The zoom and focus are very smooth and the only downside to this is that the zoom slides out if carried pointed downwards. The lensband that came with this lens can be positioned to reduce this effect. Totally happy with this lens and it is now my standard lens.

    Understated Zeiss

    I've used quite a few lenses in my time, and this has got to be one of the very best zoom lenses that I have used. Colour, sharpness, contrast, and that Zeiss 'je ne sais quio' make this a great lens to have in your bag, or, better still, on your Sony camera.
