Used Moto G4's are a great value
This is the 3rd Moto I've owned. 1st was a Moto E (OK at the time), 2nd was a Moto G4 Play (much better) and now the Moto G4 (best yet) which I recently purchased when switching carriers. Plenty of phone for me and an appreciable improvement over the G4 Play. Larger and brighter screen, faster processing, fewer glitches, more storage and better battery life. I'm now using the G4 Play as an offline MP3 player and WiFi tablet - which are good uses for a locked phone. I'm sure some of the more expensive phones are noticeably better, but for my current uses the Moto G4 is more than enough and a great value when purchased used or refurbished. Software has ghosting, but good value
It's easy to use and works for all your basic needs. The camera has a delay affect, so don't expect to get any sport shots on this. You cannot take evenings shots with this, even with the flash it's not that great. The software has ghosting and the buttons operate themselves. A truly "Full Featured" Android phone supporting aps galore and STILL have plenty of memory to spare! The Included BLUETOOTH and WIFI really brings this phone to life! In addition, this Motorola supports up to 128GB of SD Card memory too; for Music, Podcasts, Photos etc. I purchased mine as "unlocked", but my SIM is physically too small and I didn't go to T-Mobile to have it exchanged yet. The is a well made smartohone with great features for an amazing low price. One thing it lacks (which really surprised me) is a magnetic compass sensor. Like every smartphone I've ever had, there's been a litttle trouble with ringtones and notification tones auto resetting without my knowledge. Still a great phone at an even better price.
This is the second Moto G4 that I have purchased. I got one for my teenage daughter earlier this year and was so pleased with it that I got one for myself recently. Despite being nearly 3 years old at this point, it is still an incredibly good phone at a great price. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a mid-range Android phone. inexpensive multicarrier unlocked phone for 2018
Excellent value in 2018; FHD screen, 5.5", 32gb base with additional memory available on SD slot. The most important thing about this phone is that is unlocked and compatible with CDMA and GSM. For the price is much better than getting a phone from the carrier no matter how cheap. Note that Motorola have CDMA and GSM compatibility with affordable models (Apple and Samsung have these as well but at a much higher price).
