Awesome Purchase
When I ordered and received my Samsung Note 5 I was pleasantly surprised. It came on time and was brand new as expected. The only problem I had with it was that I did not know that I was getting a screensaver! It came partially attached. I purchased this phone after having a galaxy note 5 which I bought at best buy on June 8, 2016. I loved it, but on July 27, 2016, it was stolen. I then went to ebay and purchased another one at a cost of $ 399.00. I paid $100 for the first one at best buy. I did not have insurance coverage and was not eligible for an upgrade. The ebay purchase was a lot more, but I did it. Since I have had it, I have had several issues. #1 was not being able to make or receive calls. #2 battery life continually decreases. I love the camera and all of the other features and apps. I don't know how to fix or improve the issues I have had, and going to a verizon store is a nightmare. (At least an half hour wait). It's ok.
It's not bad if you have Verizon. It doesnt work properly if you have other services. Yes it works.... Kind of, but you can't get/ receive pictures,the dial pad doesnt work, and you barely get service at all, It also takes forever to hear back from the seller... Right now I am having problems with it staying connected to wifi anywhere, but it looks fantastic. Perfect for me!
I have tried to adapt to two other types of phones, one by Motorola (DROID) and the other an LG (V10) and quickly grew disenchanted with both. They both advertised the best of everything a cell phone could have or be but having always had a Samsung phone I think I got spoiled. Samsung constantly surprises and delights me with everything it has and can do. I will not experiment again and will always opt for any Samsung product. Saved a ton on this
My almost five year old Note 2 was showing its age badly and so it was a choice of buying a new current model (pushing $900 with tax) or this new older model (still three generations newer than what I had) for a third of the cost. I'm very happy with this decision as this phone is in deed new with not a scratch anywhere and everything works perfectly. The gold color is really classy looking as well.
