It's a great show to watch with your kids. There are jokes for people of all ages. Nobody will be bores, guaranteed!

The Snow Wade episodes have LGBT references in it for a cartoon that aired way back in the mid 90s! Wade, dressed in drag and as an actor, kisses Orson. It's gross, unChristian, amoral, and no kids or anyone else should be watching that! There is also a ghost cartoon where diablo is a name of one of the characters mentioned; kids might not know what that means, but it--in case you were ignorant to it--is Spanish for satan! These 2 episodes are skippable with your remote and there are so many. Other than that, I found myself laughing so hard inside that I couldn't contain my laughter around my niece and nephew! It made me remember why I loved the show so much as a kid!

I remember watching Garfield and Friends back when I was younger. I watched it on CBS back in 1989 and very quickly became one of my all-time favorite cartoon shows to watch. I am unsure at this point as to exactly how many episodes there actually was in the whole cartoon lineup, but I do know that as of right now there are 5 volumes out with each volume containing 24 episodes, with the exception of Volume 5, which has 25 episodes in its set. One thing that I do like about the way FOX put out the series is that they put the series out in chronological order with the airing.
I loved this show as a kid and my children are now falling in love with the old school Garfield. They think it is hilarious.

An excellent series that has held up very well. And it's not just for kids! Excellent cast of voice artists.
