Doesn't work per manufacturer specifications
The unit I am reviewing, SN027231111001387 failed to properly negotiate PCIExpress lanes (x1 instead of x4 as designed) therefore runs at ~1/4 speed of normally functioning unit (see picture). I tried this unit in multiple computers, all of which have worked properly with a different but identical model RevoDrive (same capacity etc). I have been working on computers professionally for 35+ years and graduated one of the best electronics schools in the world (US Navy AVI-C7 school), so I am quite sure this wasn't a mistake on my part.The unit I am reviewing, SN027231111001387 failed to properly negotiate PCIExpress lanes (x1 instead of x4 as designed) therefore runs at ~1/4 speed of normally functioning unit (see picture). Windows experience index is now 7.9 for primary Hard disk data tranfer rate
This is my first SSD and I got it for a steal. I loaded the drivers from OCZ website. I made it the primary boot device by booting up my system as normal, and then inserting my win7 Ultimate in DVD drive and ran installation on the OCZ RevoDrive 3. I can boot it up now, and still able to see my old "C" drive. At boot up, the drivers still need to load but it don't take long. After that, drive access is so FAAASSSTT !!. If you put your computer to sleep, as soon as you wake it up, it's instantaneously on. Avoid this product.
I bought 3 of these over the years, ALL HAVE FAILED. Not worth the price, just get a regular SSD or M.2 you will get far better time before failure.

Yes so far great product, using as secondary drive for a month to test out. it is fast can not wait to put as boot or primary drive. using with Diskeeper 12. Have not had one problem games load 5x faster, editing photos in Corel after shot pro and Corel Paint Shop Pro x5 difference is night and day. I am very happy with my purchase. So far it has been a very smooth experience
