The package was partially damaged when received. Item is installed and wiring correctly connected. The "timer" component of the unit does not work. The shaft of the "timer" protruded through the inner plastic liner and the shipping envelope. Then, it appears someone put tape over the hole of the shipping envelope. We still need a working cycle timer. I have tried contacting the seller and have not heard from them. I will attach a picture of the damaged package envelope.

WD21X24901 GE DISHWASHER CONTROL BOARD
The control board was new and worked when installed. The posted picture when I was entertaining buying it did not show the board out of the static bag. That was likely because that would require breaking the seal on the bag. All said and done it took an hour to remove old replace with new.

Board fixed a 6 year old dishwaher
After a six year flawless run, my GE dishwasher decided to stop starting and blinked and beeped. I tried to re-set the machine as prescribed by the owners manual and repair sites on you tube but it did not respond. decided to bet $85 that a new control board would solve the issue. Though no instructions cam with the board there were plenty of You tube repair videos to review to know exactly how to remove and replace the board. It went in without a hitch and the washer started immediately. My only concern is that in reading some reviews of the control board, some folks report early failures or "bad boards". My recommendations above are based on the current working of the dishwasher and new board. Sure beats a much more expensive service call if you have any mechanical ability and can watch ...
