All in all, quite a page turner.
THIS is the kind of writing that made me a Baldacci fan. It's been awhile since I've read THE 6TH MAN, so I kind of forgot who Edgar was and how Michelle got hurt. But enough was explained to get me past that and into this story line. I never really understood the Iran-Contra scandal, and didn't really understand the concept of money laundering via poppies and heroin in this book. Even Edgar's explanation went over my head. That's why I detracted a star. All in all, quite a page turner. The copy I received was an old library book, complete with all the stickers and stamps -- and a slightly broken spine. David Baldacci can't write fast enough for me to read most of what he's written. The library didn't have this title so I finally decided to buy it. The condition is excellent and the price was good. This is the last book in the King and Maxwell series. I haven't read it because I'm in the middle of another of his books.
