I used a Dremel tool to grind out the slot for the bracket. Now everything is ok. Besides this small issue recommend this product. Price is competitive.

The OEM seat has “bumps” on both sides which hold the control lever in place and this seat does not. I was able to Jerry-rig a mount work around but it remains to be seen if it will hold up long term.
