Pretty expensive for a bi-pod that continually loosens up
First, I have to say that this bi-pod can be made nice. I like how it is mostly made of aluminum. The ability to cant and pan is very nice. However with this being said I had some issues with the adjustments coming loose over and over again. This was very frustrating in a long range competition I was in. At first I thought I was bumping the levers, but I kept an eye on that and I was not touching them. During use, the design has a flaw, as the hardware that controls the tension on the pan and cant start to back off. I also saw this happen with another competitor and he said it was also frustrating, but he just "deals" with it, as his rifle flopped over to one side. Kind of embarrassing when you are shooting with guys running some high dollar equipment. Well, I went home and took the levers ... First, I have to say that this bi-pod can be made nice. Even my cheap Harris swivel bi-pods don't loosen up on me, so these $450+ bi-pods definitely shouldn't. This is a design flaw and Accu-tac engineers should get on the ball and fix it. I'd be embarrassed if I were those guys and I expect better for the price you pay for these. Also during the shoot, I mentioned earlier, I had one of the feet unscrew on me and it rolled off in the dirt in front of the firing line!!!! Ended up having to loctite those on, to keep that from happening again. With just a few revisions, these things can be top notch. In their current state, I'd say they are not. A little less than perfect on a high dollar product just doesn't cut it. Because of this, I have to give it a 3 star rating.

Great bipod
Very solidly built. I have tried many bipods in my rifles and this one appears to be the best. It is heavy but for a long range gun, it does not really make a difference. Very easy adjustments and it hold real solid. But with confidence.
