A chance to see the "real" guys that make up U2
This album was not only a great mix of music that is classic U2, but it is also a glimpse inside the minds of the men who made the music. It's a chance to see that these 4 guys from Dublin are, indeed, human. You see the differences in their personalities and their musical likings (a precursor to their all-to-close-call with calling it quits before sticking it out to release Achtung Baby). The music is a mix of new stuff, old stuff, live stuff and studio stuff. They have some great help on some of the recordings from some known and lesser-known people. "Still haven't found what I'm looking for" was backed by a gospel choir in NYC and "When love comes to town" was recorded with the blues man himself, BB King (including some pretty high compliments from King, regarding Bono's lyric writing ... This album was not only a great mix of music that is classic U2, but it is also a glimpse inside the minds of the men who made the music. This album, recorded during their "Joshua Tree" tour, shows the growth that brought about the new U2 sound. This tour introduced them to the music that would eventually change their whole view of recording. The DVD/Video of the same name includes even more looks behind the scenes and is worth the price if you are a U2 fan. Check it out here on ebay. All in all, a truly great album with some of the deepest, meaningful music and lyrics released by U2 to date. And the look inside is a real bonus.

I love my U2 cassette
I decided to buy the U2 cassette because they are my favorite band of all time and forever on. I purchased a handheld cassette player and decided to invest in cassettes because they don't skip like cd's when you are walking. It hasbeen a pleasure walking with Bono .
