    The 47 Ronin (original film version)

    A 1940’s film 3-1/2 hours long of which 2 hours should have been edited out by today’s standard. It is good as a reference to film making at that time. No “blood and guts realism” as seen in modern films. I’m glad I bought it at a very inexpensive price. Forced myself to watch it once . Now I will watch the modern version to compare.
