Rear Publisher's Ad, 9 Full-Page Plates and Numerous In-Text Illustrations. Publisher's Original Blue Pictorial Gilt Cloth Binding, Black End-Papers, All Edges Gilt. In Very Good+ condition, with a strong spine showing no cracking or splitting, strong hinges showing no separation or starting, no loose or missing pages, and no annotations, foxing or mold. Outer cloth shows some general rubbing/handling and edge-wear: light bumping to the corners edges; light dust soiling; some bubbling to the cloth of the front board near the upper left corner (see Image 1); light wear to the cloth at the foot and crown of spine, but no loss; faint signs of water exposure to p.100-200, but no mustiness or foxing (see Image 7). All in all a very solid copy. See Image 4 for complete Table of Contents and List of Illustrated Plates (only Full-Page Plates cataloged in ToC).”
