    Kanani is a collector's dream!

    Lovely Kanani is not a doll for a little four-year old. She is an American Girl collector's dream, and I want to set straight all the reviews I've read that downvote her hair. Kanani's hair is fabulous! American Girl pulled out all the stops and used one of the custom Moniques, almost identical to the ones that My Twinn used on their "hair queens." It is ginger brown, thick, and luxuriant. It looks like human hair. Because it isn't silky-straight like Julie's, one does have to be gentle with it--you can't yank a comb through it, let her locks get matted, take her to the beach (unless you're an adult doing a photo shoot), or-- horrors--drag her around by her hair. Treasure Kanani and love her. She is sweet to hold and a delight to play with---I use an American Girl brush to gently style her ...
