Was sent the wrong item, and after it was delivered, i was only given the option of a refund, not a return/exchange, despite the fact that the seller has continued to sell the correct item at a new, much higher, price. Also the refund i received was only 65% of the original purchase price, with no justification. After attempting to contact them on multiple occasions for the remainder, i was repeatedly ignored and can now no longer make any further claim through ebay. They have stolen my money.

Great scale for any backpacker or cyclist. Works great and easy to use.
I bought this for a week long mountain bike trip so I could keep track of where the weight was being loaded and how much was being added. It helped me keep the bike balanced and the center of gravity low.

Accurate and reliable
I have a Park Tool scale which weighs 12oz heavier than the Park Tool scale my bike shop uses. Hmm, which is correct, or is the correct answer in between? So I weighed my bikes by using some expensive balance beam scales…weighing myself with and without my bikes. The balance beam scales I used were made by two different manufacturers. One of the scales was rated accurate for commerce. It turned out that both balance beam scales gave the same answer to the nearest ounce. Both balance beam scales suggested my Park Tool scale was weighing 5oz too heavy, and the Park Tool scale my bike shop was using was weighing 7oz too light. When I tested this Alpine scale, it exactly matched my two balance beam scales. So I am going with the Alpine scale readings.
