Great PWM circuit board
This kit has been around for at least 20 years and uses a SG3525 PWM integrated circuit. One thing unique about this design is that it utilizes most of the features of the SG3525 making them user adjustable: Min. PWM Voltage, PWM Frequency, Max PWM Voltage. Although the output transistor is rated at 6 amps with simple external circuitry, I can consistently power motors over 1000 watts. In fact, I use this kit to vary the speed with automobile starter motors. In addition, the input can be easily modified to accept any hall-effect throttle control made for Chinese electric scooters. There are many PWM kits/circuit boards on Ebay, most inexpensive ones use a 555 timer integrated circuit.
