Works OK, but construction is dodgy
This device has 4 input voltages selectable on the back, and puts out 120V or 220-240V at 50 or 60 Hz depending on the local electrical grid. It is simply a big transformer with multiple taps, and a lighted switch with no other components. Most of the internal wiring is fairly thin and just tacked on to very flimsy internal terminals. The input plug is not grounded and not polarized. STEP UP/DOWN TRANSFORMER
It's a good product to use with a power strip to plug in computers, printers, tv, and charging various items that I use around the house that cannot be plugged into 220V. I have had no issues with it so far and recommend this product for use.

Useless product
It doesn’t amplify my voltage like it should from 110 to 220. Forget it.... that’s why it’s cheap. Will have to look for something else that can help increase current to play my xbox.

We received the converter box early. That's about the only good thing about it. We tried to hook it up and it has blown all three fuses. It does not do what it says it does. It will not hook up to 240 amps
