Otherwise very good product.
The product needs an extension in order to fit real DIN outlets which are recessed. These are mostly used in Europe. The need for the extension might come as a surprise for many.

This won't work on products with digital screens!!! BEWARE!
Item claims to convert [step down] 220v to 110v up to 1,600W. Well, maybe it does and maybe it doesn't, I'll never know. Because in no place in the listing does it mention that it will NOT work on products that have a digital screen to set the heat. I bought this to use with my 108W (500W Max) hair straightener on my trip overseas. Guess what, it fried my hair straightener! Turns out the product supposedly only works on items that have nothing else other than a hearing element. If there's any other component other than the hearing element (mine had a small lcd screen), it won't work! Seller forgot to mention this "small" detail in the product description.
