What well-made shades! I've never had any gold-lined ones before. They cast a nice warm glow. Also, the "four-way" clamp onto the bulb was new to me. It holds the shades securely. I rewired these two vintage lamps and thought black shades would be the best. The original shades, with penguins, are long gone but these "Chilly Willy" lamps live on.
