First step into 1/5 scale!
I have been in the hobby for many years, this would be my first gasoline powered 1/5 scale. It is a blast. So far I have ran a gallon of fuel. I have had a few screws come loose, so a pre/post run inspection is recommended. The motor runs amazing and I haven't had any issues with it running. Starts right up and idle great. I really enjoy my brushless rc's. But this rovan is far more user-friendly compared to nitro. I highly recommend this rovan baja-q. It's A BLAST!!
Be prepared to make repairs after every run, typical with this hobby! The buggy is extremely fun...NOPE it's a blast for the price! First the front shock top supports broke for no reason (ordered metal from China); the back tires gave out after two tanks so order extra tires. The fuel tank was melted by the exhaust, ordered a new tank and put a heat shield in place. If you are purchasing this buggy I've found it's a lot cheaper to order (2) buggies so you can have donor parts. Parts are NOT typically easy to get and the price is equal to a new buggy. The back wheel pins.... use a thread locking compound because they WILL come loose, ruining your day. I'm not disappointed in my purchase at all! Not what you said it was going to be
The exhaust pipe is not right it does not give enough horsepower and the engine will not stay running black stuff keeps coming out of the back too much money for this product and won't stay running right unless you can help me please
