    Phone of the Year 2000

    This phone was a brick. It had the best reception out of any phone I've ever used. I believe this was the phone of the year in 2000. I personally have loved using mine. The speaker was loud and clear. Much better than the new phones, battery life was around 2 hours talk time. The only drawback is the size and non color LCD screen. If it was a bit smaller it would have been perfect.

    SCP 4700

    I have had this phone since it was new, over 6 yrs! Its been in a drawer for the last few years and I have used it for a phone book. Can't believe the battery still holds a charge for days! This has been a great phone and its clear to talk and very rarely did I get a call dropped on it. I am re-activating it.

    Mom's phone.

    The Sanyo SCP 4700 was my second Sanyo phone i ever owned. When i needed a phone to replace my mom's, i choose the 4700 because of the non-flip style, easy operation. Large keys, external speaker, are just a few reasons this phone is a good choice for an older person, or anyone wanting a reliable, easy to use cellular phone.

    Sanyo SCP 4700 (Sprint)

    This phone is a great buy! I previously had this model and after several years of abuse, my son dunked it in apple juice and killed it. So I purchased a new top o the line nokia on the recommendation of the salesperson, of course. Well, that junky phone didn't last a year. I purchased this one used on ebay and it is great. This model phone gets great reception and is very durable. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but the battery life lasts forever and it is a reliable.

    Sanyo SCP 4700 (Sprint)

    My original plan will be ending in seven months and I did not want to committ with the cellular provider I am currently with. I purchased the Sanyo 4700 because it was inexpensive as a replacement because my original phone was broken. So far it works well no complaints.
