A serious knife with all the right stuff!!!!
The blade came very sharp and the point is like a needle. It feels good in the hand and the fit and finish of the handle scales is excellent. The knife doesn't have any unnecessary curves or frills on it. The sheath is kydex and holds the knife securely. Overall it is an excellent knife and well worth the money. I recommend it to anyone looking for a karambit.

Most Important Item in the Karambit-Training Kit
Most Karambit Trainer replicas are very expensive. Wooden replicas can break at the ring during practice, and can cause unwanted cuts of scrapes. This new Cold Steel Karambit Trainer has a durable polymer construction, and it has enough length to practice "holds" locks and even throws using the karambit-type knife. This trainer is too firm to "spar" with and should be used with "protective eyewear." The cost is about 1/2 the price of the "kalaj-cutter" with more length. My only criticism is that the "rear grip- quillion" (the knife "guard") can bite into the partner's arm/wrist a little during practice. This "trainer" may be larger than most Karambit knives, and give the practitioner an unrealistic feel if their "carry knife" is much shorter. AAA+++!!! for a training device. signed a 25 ...
