I was unlikely to receive this item (Lithium battery is considered a dangerous kind and can only be shipped by ground), but somehow it happened! I replaced the battery on my MacBook myself, it seems to work but I’d like to point out that battery A1618 is not for Mid 2014 and earlier MacBook Pro. It physically fits the inside of a laptop but it has different capacity and voltage. Mid 2014 MacBook Pro works with battery A1494 and this seller does not make a distinction between the two.
