It was vague, I don't know why the watches weren't working, I don't work on watches. If you thought it was the battery why didn't you ask? Had the battery been the problem I would have put in new ones and listed as running. You said it could be fixed so is it for parts only or not running? Someone who works with watches could have bought them, fixed them and sold them for a profit.
