    Super charged my Dell E5510

    I bought my Laptop a while ago. It was a second hand Dell Latitude E5510 with 4GB of ram, a magnetic 160GB HDD and an i3 2.2GHz CPU. Over time I replaced the HDD with a SSD which improved the performance a lot, and an extra 4GB of RAM also helped. But I've had the same CPU in it since I got it. Now finally I've replaced it with this i7. And WOW! The difference is amazing. It's still not a power house by any means, but this CPU has made it perform better than any other laptop I've ever used. The seller also managed to ship this from Hong Kong to the UK in just 6 days!!! I'm literally over the moon with this.

    i7-640M

    Upgraded my 2010 Gateway NV-59C laptop I had laying under the bed that hadn’t been used in 3 years. It had a i3-370M, SSD, and 8gb ram. I looked up some videos on how to take the laptop apart to access the CPU. Destroyed the keyboard in the process but that’s my own fault. Swapped it with a new keyboard and she’s good as new. Just make sure you update the BIOS to accept the new CPU BEFORE you install the i7-640M or windows will not open. This CPU upgrade gave new life to my old gateway which will make it usable for several more years!

    Great price for an easy upgrade

    I've upgraded my old Toshiba A665-S5170 i3 processor with this one in about 45 minutes. One thing I was little surprised with is that despite the picture showing very nice and clean processor, in reality it came in full of old silver thermal paste all over the processor and the GPU. So, the picture in the listing is not the actual processor you are getting. Other then that, works great and for around $50 you can definitely revive your old laptop with easy.

    I would buy it again!

    This was a pull from another machine and I was expecting it to be wrapped in bubble wrap and tape. Well it came quickly and it was in a small case with thermal pads and cleaner to install. It went in easily and is performing great in my daughter's pc. An upgrade that didn't cost much and I would recommend this product and Dale's CPU Deals and Computer Parts any day!

    Definitely better than my old Intel Core i3 370M
