Great product except for the mounting hardware
Would give it 5 stars if it had better mounting hardware. The screws have a star bit in the end of the bolt that one side stripped, I was using the appropriate size bit and had good, straight pressure, and it still stripped. Have seen other kits that utilize a bigger bolt and nut drive assembly.

Relatively good fit. Remove the clip in plastic piece above the stock intercooler on the passenger side or you will be unable to get the mounting hole to line up. Excellent performance for price, couldn’t find anything that touches the value of this unit.

High quality at any price but even more impressive considering the low cost
This is an excellent intercooler regardless of cost. Build quality is outstanding, with perfect fins, beautiful welds, and perfectly machined inlet/outlet fittings that connect directly to OEM BMW hardware. It also has a nice, durable painted finish. Fitment is very good, it's a little taller and so sits a little lower than other drop-in intercoolers but I was still able to get the under tray on albeit just barely. I had recently sold my VRSF intercooler when I was planning to sell my car but then had a change of heart and decided to keep it. I just wanted a simple drop-in intercooler to keep IATs down in the summer on stock turbos so no need for a massive intercooler, just a decent drop in. This intercooler is far higher quality than the VRSF intercooler it replaced, way better ... This is an excellent intercooler regardless of cost.
