    Public defender large grip

    The taurus factory large grip for the public defender is an awesome upgrade to the public defender it makes the pistol more manageable and shootable I love mine and highly recommend it if you have the small grip on your Taurus public defender.

    Necessary mod

    The factory grip on the Public Defender is short and doesn't give a confident hold. This larger grip makes a big difference, even though it's not really much longer. Installation is not easy. I had to grind some rubber out of the inside to get the screw to grab.

    The right grip!

    The large size grip for the Public Defender is an excellent replace for the shorter factory version. Both are manufactured by Taurus with the same design with the exception of approximately 0.3 inches longer. This additional length gives the shooter better control over the firearm. The other dimensions (minus the length) of the grip are the same as the standard version supplied from the factory. This is a 'no-brainer' if you own the Public Defender model and should consider this simply upgrade to the firearm.
