Package came completely destroyed. Case it was sent in was busted into 50 pieces and silver everywhere. Surprisingly all there, I think. Maybe use just small zip-lock bags next time? No fault of the seller I'm sure, but still. Better packaging next time? Some of the Silver was a little tarnished. It'll work for what I need it for.

Would not fit vehicle
The unit will not fit a 2001 E46 CiC, the reason being that the splined gear wheel on the original is 9mm in depth, the replacement is 11mm in depth. The result is that the unit will not seat in the recess in the door for the replacement unit. Unfortunately I did not take pictures since I was totally frustrated at that point.
