    Very expandable, 3rd party Intel/Oracle NVMe SSD's work well

    Works perfect with SSD boot device. Added NMe PCIe 1.6TB card (Oracle F160, based on Intel DC P3600) for $130 to run VMs. Get lightly used enterprise grade SSD that can handle 3+ or more full drive writes per day.

    Apple doesn't make them like this any longer...

    Upgradeable, modular, lots of room for hard drives...this is the last good Mac Pro Apple made. Maybe they'll return to something this good in 2018.
