This new product saved me a lot of anguish and time in finding two missing Rainbird valves buried underground. After attaching it to the controller and valve wire, and turning on the zone needed, the LED light came on and you could see a rapid soft pulse indicating the valve was opening/closing. Using it first on a known valve location is useful so you know what sound to listen for. It took me only about 5 minutes to find both missing valves. This little chat-r-box pro was a game changer.

I received my Chat-R- Box in the mail today and put it right to work. One of my sprinkler zone valves is suspect slightly leaking by and short cycling the pump. Once I hooked it up I went out in the yard and within 5 minutes found the buried valve. It’s worth every penny…paid for itself on day one. Not only didn’t have to call a pro, but just the satisfaction of doing it myself. Thanks for this great product👍

The Chat-R-Box worked as advertised - found 3 of my 4 missing valves so far. Definitely read the Instructions and tips. I pump out of my own water source so, disconnecting the P/MV (Pump, Main Valve) wire was a must to keep the pump from running and only powering the solenoids. I did use a 5 foot 2 inch piece of PVC pipe I had to put up to my ear to search around with per the tip section. Definitely start with a known valve - if you have one - to know the sound you're searching for.
