Product Information

The matte red Nintendo DSi can take portable gaming to a whole new level. This system is an upgrade from the previous Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS with two cameras, digital voice recording, and editing, and the ability to browse and download right from the Internet. You can play your favorite video games on the 3.25 inch LCD screen, which has touchscreen capabilities using the stylus. The external camera lens can snap great photos of friends and family, while the internal camera lens can let you take selfies while playing your favorite games. You can edit the photos using one of the 11 included camera lenses and the screen, then send the photos to friends using the system’s included Internet browser. The DSi also offers audio recording options, including an internal microphone, to record your own voice with editing features that let you change the pitch and speed of the audio. You can play your favorite music by inserting an SD memory card into the DSi and use the consoles music editing features and accessories to edit your favorite songs. An included headphone jack can make it easy to listen to music privately. The Nintendo DSi accepts all DSi game cards, most original DS software and game cards, and SD memory cards for playing music and videos. The 4GB hard drive allows you to download content to the handheld device including games and demos. The included hardware lets you connect and play against friends or share your best scores or feats with others who play the same game. Internal software lets players change games without having to turn off the system. You can simply go back to the home screen and swap out games without freezing up the screen and having to restart. Lithium batteries can provide up to 14 hours of play and accessories include a battery adapter for continuous play. Weighing only 1.6 pounds means you can carry your red DSi anywhere you want to play.

    Great Product, definitely worth the price

    I bought this product primarily for the Pokemon handheld games, which I've been a fan of since Pokemon Red and Blue first came out. It turned out to be an awesome purchase, and definitely well worth the money spent. PROS: Great display, touchscreen that has a very wide and interesting variety of usages in the different games I've played on it, a built-in microphone, surprisingly long battery life (when not connected to wi-fi), and a decently sized selection of games. CONS: Not too many here. The stylus is terrible, it made me feel like I was holding a toothpick, especially when playing games that require split-second reactions like Metroid: Prime Hunters or Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. So, if you plan on playing any games like these, an investment in a better, larger stylus wouldn't be a ...

    DS family are great value, and DSi better than original!

    I have an old DS (the chunky 1st gen one) and I got to say the DSi's screen is such an improvement. It has 5 levels of brightness, and on the highest level you can even play outside. Although you can't change the brightness while you are playing a game, which is a little annoying. The stylus is bigger which is sometimes a little nicer. The hinges seems cheaper than the older models and I've heard a lot of complaints of them breaking, but mine has been fine so far. I've always loved the DS's flip design; keep the screens scratch free. The DS's in general also have a huge selection of pretty cheaply priced games. The DSi has a lot of little gimmicky things in it, like the camera and the ability to access the internet, but honesty, you'll probably use those once and then never again.

    Perfect condition, Just Like new!

    I received this in its original box. The box itself have a few dents but that is minor. The Nintendo DSI I bought looked exactly like the one in the picture. It had no scratches or any signs of play. Very pleased would highly recommend!
