The book is nice, although it has some specs and capacities and a nice color wiring diagram in the back it basically tells you how to take components apart and put them back together. It doesn't really tell you how to fix anything. In addition, it warns you through out the book that if you're not a professional with all the proper tools, you should probably not attempt the job.
