Durability may not be so great, but it's indispensible for Surface Pro 4
This is my second Pro 4 type cover. The first one developed several very soft/squishy keys after only a few months of service - they still work, but it's hard to tell that you typed them properly. This one feels good so far, but not as good as my Surface 3 type cover. The 3 cover keys just feels more "clicky." I hope this one holds up. Also, the illuminated keys are not as bright as on my first one. Don't know what this means - a Microsoft quality control issue? I consider the type cover as absolutely necessary if you want to use the Surface Pro 4 as a real computer. The on-screen keyboard is just not as nice to use, and covers up a sizeable fraction of the screen. This keyboard and a bluetooth mouse (I like the Microsoft 3600) make this a real computer- not some cutsie tablet.This is my second Pro 4 type cover.
