    Unconditional love

It was a fair movie. Kind of unrealistic. I love Cathy Bates in most of her movies but this one just didn't do it for me.

  • A Movie to Make Your Heart Sing

This is one of those feel good movies. It tells the story of a middle aged woman who through circumstances is forced to examine her situation and make life-altering changes. In doing so she becomes involved with solving a mystery, overcoming the resistance of a reluctant co-detective, and changing the perceptions of those around her. Kathy Bates is at about her best in this role, as is Rupert Everrett. However, the stand out is Meredith Eaton as a loud mouthed, gun toting accomplice for her crime solving mother-in-law. The cameos in the movie are incredible with Julie Andrews, Lynn Redgrave, Richard Byers, and many others. There is pathos, conflict, triumph, singing, and comedy including Julie Andrews self-mocking role as herself. This movie will definitely make your heart sing.

  • Unconditional Love

Synopsis: "This charming romantic comedy follows Grace Beasley (Kathy Bates) as she finds herself embarking on a wild journey. After her husband (Dan Aykroyd) leaves her, Grace decides to be impulsive and live life the way she wants to. She hops on a plane to London in order to attend the funeral of her favorite singer, Victor Fox. When she gets there, she meets Victor's former lover, Dirk Simpson (Rupert Everett), who is determined to avenge Victor's death. Together, the unlikely duo begin their quest, as Grace gradually begins to understand what it means to live life on one's own terms." Love Rupert Everett in this film. Saw this on logo and just had to have a copy. This is a film that I can watch over and over! Kathy Bates, Dan Ackroyd and Barry Manilow star in this! This film had me ...

  • Unconditional Love A Lesson For Everyone

Believe it or not this movie was recommended by my 73yo mom. I watched it and absolutely fell in love with it's characters and story line. Kathy Bates and Rupert Everett give wonderful preformances as does the supporting cast. It's funny, heart warming, true to life at times ... teaches us about what unconditional love is all about. Loving and not asking to be loved or expecting to be loved in return. I finally purchased it for my mother, who cherishes every moment of this film. I best part of the film is it's lesson .. in writing ... Never Regret, Never Forget, The Gift From Above, Unconditional Love ... P.S. Kathy Bates and company sign at the end ... what a nice voice she has ... you'll be surprised !

  • Unconditional Love (2003, DVD)

We bought this as a gift for a friend who is a Kathy Bates fan. This is a great movie giving the viewer observations into the characters' interpersonal relationships. I like the journey this movie takes you on: A journey of a middle-aged woman who really is "nobody" but proves to be a "great" woman with a generous heart. Her understanding and compassion helps a gay lover overcome the loss of his loved one. Cons: This movie will probably not be enjoyed by people who dispise homosexual relationships.
