This book is easy reading, touching and pertinent today. Actually written by a knight going into battle who is giving advice to his children on how to live, especially if he dies. Words to your son - or daughter - words said with old world love on how to put your armor on.
Ethan is a wonderful writer. He personifies what I would've like father of our children to say to our boys. Tender but in good writing a feeling of toughness shines through. Old world messages of how the world is and how to adapt to see through eyes of defense and larger picture to be wise in view and decisions. Just admire his writing through and through.
