Offering extended range and blazingly fast data-transfer speeds, it can be optimal for business and casual travelers. The ZTE Jetpack 890L can keep mobile Verizon customers connected and productive regardless of locality.Sleek and conveniently compact, the Jetpack 890L measures 3.5 x 3.5 x .7 inches. Its lightweight frame weighs only 3.17 ounces. Its multitude of functions are powered by a powerful Qualcomm MDM9600 processor. For easy navigation of settings, the unit is equipped with a 1.5 inch OLED screen on the front. Users can readily keep note of signal strength, battery power, and messages through this screen. Settings can be accessed through the cog icon displayed on the lower left side of the screen. This can allow for simple customization of the device to user specifications. Once connected, users can access the router’s webpage online to tweak options further. Security can be maintained by the reliable WAN firewall provided by the system. It can also offer password settings, parental filters, and channel types for further customization. Users can set up a Virtual Private Network (VPN) for enhanced privacy and security with the unit.The Jetpack 890L can support up to 10 devices at once, providing a hotspot for multiple mobile users. It has four ports, each with a speed of 10/100, that can support RJ-45 Ethernet cables. This can allow it to function as a normal Wi-Fi modem as well. It can effortlessly handle high definition video and other forms of entertainment across connected devices. It connects to 4G LTE and other Verizon cellular services, including 3G.The smart router acts as a Wi-Fi modem in areas without Internet access. It uses the common data link protocols of IEEE 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n to bring online connectivity to users. The maximum transfer rate is 12 Mbps, and the unit can operate as a hotspot in over 205 countries. The high LTE speeds provided by the device can give computers, cell phones, and tablets fast access to the Internet.This wireless unit can easily be integrated with pre-existing Verizon plans held by customers. In areas that would normally be dead zones, users can still enjoy their favorite phone apps with the MiFi unit. Furthermore, the hotspot can broadcast over a sizeable area. Its range extends to over 100 feet. This means that cell phone users can stay a good distance from the unit and still benefit from high speed connectivity.In addition, the Jetpack 890L can retain a sizeable charge. It can operate for an extended period of time without users having to enter an external power source. Its 1700mAh battery is capable of providing over four and a half hours of service for mobile streaming. For charging, it can be connected to the wall or a computer via the included micro USB cable.

    Unit functions only after replacing battery.

    At first, unit wouldn’t function. Even Verizon tech support had no answer. We replaced battery with the one in our old device and got it going. But our old battery is weak, so have ordered a new one.
