Stock pad is too stiff.
The pad has very little cushioning when shooting 2 3/4 inch buckshot shells. I agree that buckshot recoil is stout, but this stock with this pad makes the shooting experience excessively painful. I cannot recommend it.

Excellent Short LOP Stock
This is a great option for tactical shotguns, for those who don't like the looks or the price of the Magpul Short Lop stock. The grip is generously sized and the rubber is very grippy. I installed mine on a M590A1 and it is of better quality than the factory one it replaced.

Seems more solid than the original. 12” LOP is maybe 1/2” too short, but it is worlds better than the too long original. You can really square up behind this one. Priced a lot better than the MagPul. The Hogue is a better value. Use the money you saved for more ammo.

Much better and faster to get on target than the original Mossberg stock. Unless you’ve got long arms. Installation was simple too, especially with the provided washer.
