the magazine extension is a good idea which makes the shotgun a more powerful weapon , when more power is needed to accomplish the needed results. you must always follow state gun laws. In self defense is where the extra power can make the biggest difference. Good product, install carefully.
Pros; after some work, it works pretty well. Seems sturdy, etc. Cons; you have to drill out the magazine 'dimples' that hold the plastic spring retainer in, so once you do this, if you take the extension off, your spring retainer will be 'unretained' forever more. It helps if you are very careful when drilling to get the entire divot or you'll spend some time with a file getting rid of it because the stopper has to pass freely or the thing flat wont work. Pros; after some work, it works pretty well. Added rounds to my 870
Fits exactly like it should, drilled out the indentions, popped everything in and away we went. The barrel clamp could've been a little better if it'd had a sling attachment, but I intended on using a different one anyway.
