    I like extended slide releases

    I have extended slide releases on other Glocks. This last Glock one came without the extended part so I wanted to keep the feel the same. Being used to using an extended slide release, I would highly recommend it, it is sturdy enough but when it comes to the value, other vendors had them listed "out of stock" for about $12 or so. This sold for around the $24 or so. You train a certain way for a reason, staying consistent with operations is a good thing.

    Did not work for me

    After shooting 500+ rounds with my new 19 Gen 5 MOS, I decided to purchase this OEM slide stop lever as my first extended control upgrade. Yes it does make it easier to lock and release the slide but it did induce an issue I never had. With this installed, It intermittently causes the slide to lock back while I was shooting. It was probably due to the combination of my high support hand grip and this part that was creating the issue. Reinstalled the original slide stop lever and back to zero issues. So in closing, extended slide stop lever is not me but could work for other people.

    Glock extended slide release

    This is a Glock factory gen5 part. I bought 2 to put on my 19 and 17 an I really like how effortless it is to hit that slide release in an emergency magazine change. Locking the slide to the rear is also much easier, not that it was hard to begin with. Some guys get their hands a little too high and get slide lock on every shot because it’s easy to catch.

    Great OEM part

    The slide lock/release on the Glock 19 is very small. This part has a larger surface area and works much better for me. I originally ordered it from The Glock store, but after almost 3 months, I cancelled it and bought it from these folks. Got it in a week. It’s easy to install. Check YouTube.

    Brand new, fits great

    Came in all sealed packaging. brand new never been opened until I opened it. Fits like a glove, really does add an easy way to close the slide. It also does not impact my Tier 1 or T Rex arms holsters at all.
