Simply The Best Laptop Fan You Can Buy!
I have tried many laptop fans and they have all failed sooner than expected. Fans are not a cheap item ($30), but are needed everyday because computers are used almost every day. This is my 2nd Targus fan. It is quiet, cost effective, is a dual-fan, it's beveled to slightly lean your laptop towards the user and yet is very light (weight). I would strongly recommend anyone needing a laptop fan to buy this model. It is very dependable. I bought this replacement because my current one is starting to make a noise during start-up, but goes away within a minute and works as stated. I don't want to be without my Targus, so I bought a back-up fan. You'll be glad you did when your current fan goes out! Banana peel slick!
Had to modify by adding velcro to top of chill mat and bottom of my laptop, as laptop would slide around and nearly fall off with any sort of movement. Neopreme surface with holes would work wonders on this product.

this cooler is better than expected. my high power latop runs so cool, the computer fan blows just cool air. its ergonomic and is so comfortable. i checked temp of computer and it runs 80 degrees to 120 never went over 120. i love it.

I thought this pad was going to work for me, but a couple things happened. First, the rims are not strong enough to resist snapping (fracturing). With the laptop sitting on the pad, I reached out to lift it from an ottoman into my lap and when I did so, the right bottom edge snapped right in the center. Weak! A month later the left side snapped. It's not designed to carry the weight of the laptop and be handled. The second thing is that the little rubber bumps that are to keep the laptop from sliding work at first and then they become useless. The laptop now just slides forward slowly. I'm going to have to buy a different model when I end up tossing this one. Also, the fan isn't strong at all. These are my experiences during the past one year of ownership.I thought this pad was going to work for me, but a couple things happened.
