I am using it with Shure V15-VMR, Ortofon OM-10, and AT440MLb cartridges on an AT-1240 turntable. It is a nice improvement aesthetically and seems to sound a bit nicer than the built-in phono preamp (which is really quite good on that turntable), much better sounding than my ART DJ Pre-II, and about the same as my Creek OBH-8. All in all, a good buy.
