Pretty, KJV, Helpful Reading Guide
Thick, hardback book with gold-edged pages. Pretty cover with texture; pages continue the floral theme. Maroon ribbon bookmark. Entirely KJV. Planned by "Day 1" and so forth instead of being dated by month/day. Pages are of good quality, organized well, with lined space for journaling. Scripture passages listed to read the Bible in a year. Short devotional thought for each day. Verse quoted each day. I went through this book years ago and enjoyed it. I appreciate that it's the King James Version since finding books that are exclusively KJV is hard. I love to write, so the journaling aspect was great. The devo portions prompted me to delve deeper and contemplate things. If you can find this book (published 2016 by Barbour Books) reasonably priced, I do recommend it.Thick, hardback book with gold-edged pages. Totally KJV, Overall Good Quality
I went through this devotional journal years ago and really enjoyed it. This purchase is for a gift. Finding KJV only devotionals is tough, so I am extra happy about this one! This book gives brief overviews of the daily Scripture reading, maybe tying several passages together with a central thought. The content isn't real deep but is often thought-provoking, especially if you take time to meditate on what you read. The suggested chapters for reading the Bible through in a year are manageable. I like that this isn't dated but goes by Day 1 and so on. It is hardback and a thick book, durable for a year's use. The space for writing varies per day; depending on how much you like to write, how small/big you write, and how inspired you were, you may or may not have ample room. The ...
