    Sharp Edged Pump

    I would not put such a critical part in an engine without taking it apart and checking all clearances, Internal the Pump was on the tight side of spec's , the pressure relief valve was IMO too tight , I was able to hone it a bit with a wheel cylinder hone for a perfectly smooth fit , additional I shimmed the spring a bit for a little more pressure, the machined surfaces of the housing and cover had very sharp edges that had to be de-bured , like I said , I would never install a critical part like this without thoroughly checking it out , I've never bought a pump that was ready to use out of the box, but this one was pretty good.

    Don't buy this pump!!! ,I had to drop the pan and remove it after installing it to grind clearance on the pump housing because the crank counter balance was rubbing the pump housing this was 8 hr. Wasted !!!!
