Stop at 9
I originally got what I thought was the whole series in graphic novel form; books 1-9 from a friend who was moving. It wasn't until later I saw he did not have the final book. Maybe for good reason. The ending to 9 was ambiguous enough that it could potentially hold up as the final installment. However, the events that unfold midway through ithe final volume, I could have gone without. The ending of the series is a heavily discussed topic of interest online as you will eventually see, if, like myself, you ponder the ending and why it ended the way it did. The series takes a turn I personally wasn't too big a fan of. I know closure will want potential readers, naturally, to see the way the final chapter of this story plays out, but the lead up to the ending and ensuing events kinda ... Overall a Great series. This being the last installment does good to tie up most of the loose ends. Great but disappointing ending to a great series, my only arguement is it actually had to end. Plus you cant read the series without really wanting a pet monkey.
