    Basketball for Dummies

    Basketball was never my game. Being a short skinney white dude, I was just lost. Then, in my mid 40s my wife went in with a coworker and bought season tickets to the Warriors for the 2005/2006 season. Since then I've developed an appreciate...actually...love for the game. I decided I'd better learn something more than I can see from our seats so this book looked like the perfect read. It's great. It breaks the game down in simple terms even a basketball dummy like me can understand. It goes into the history and evolution of the game, with lots of annecdotes. I highly recommend it.

    I bought this book so my grandmother could understand the game better. This book breaks down the game of basketball really well, so far it is working and my grandmother is able to watch the game and understand it a little better.

    This book is great for anyone that would like to know more about basketball or someone like myself who plans to be a coach. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested.

    Dummies Basketball Book

    Good book. Written by the former Notre Dame head coach. Gives good tips. Covers all the basics. I'm coaching youth basketball and I found this book very helpful.
