    Totally Entertaining and Well-Written

    This series is very entertaining. I read before I fall asleep at night, so I'm careful with what I read. M. C. Beaton is so well-written, her Hamish Macbeth series holds my interest but doesn't keep me awake or give me nightmares. I look forward to finding out what her characters are up to and I enjoy Ms Beaton's subtle humor.
